Meet Our Board of Directors
-
Adam Bartoszek
President and Chairman of the Board | Professional Rabble Rouser
Adam Bartoszek is a big nerd, and the original founder of AdamCon. He and his amazing wife, Heather, are the proud cat parents of Hawkins, Dessa, and Stella, who constantly try to knock their games off their shelves. He has love for all types of games, but he favors heavy strategy over luck since he once rolled snake eyes three times in a row! He has a large collection that he enjoys sharing at AdamCon, and his goal for Rolling for Hope is to lead the organization to bring more people together and to funnel more donations to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital than the previous year!

Dan Rye
Vice President of the Board
Dan Rye is a technology enthusiast and Managing Partner/CTO at Tensure Consulting. Alongside his incredible wife and son, Dan is on a mission to bring people together and make a positive impact. With a background in startups, nonprofits, and extensive experience in leadership roles, Dan brings a wealth of expertise to Rolling for Hope. His passion for fostering freedom and innovation aligns perfectly with the values of Rolling for Hope, and he is committed to leveraging technology and gaming to create meaningful connections and contribute to the cause of improving lives.

Colleen Swanson
Treasurer
Colleen has lived in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area her entire life. She has been married to her husband Steve for 18 years and is the mother to two amazing children Julianna 8 and Noah 3. Colleen has 18 years of finance and accounting experience most notable as a senior audit manager at VonLehman CPA and Advisory Firm (now Dean Dorton) and CFO for 4C for Children, a nonprofit in Norwood, Ohio, serving the needs of those that care for children. Colleen has had a love of games since a very young age which was encouraged by her Dad’s immediate and extended family. Having been an original attendee of the first AdamCon she is happy to bring a financial mind to the board.

Tameka Sampson
Secretary
Tameka Sampson is a wine dependent life form assigned to planet Earth, sub region Aurora, Colorado. Among her many talents are the ability to throw shade like confetti and her passion for helping others. As a long time supporter of AdamCon, Tameka has been fulfilled by helping the many lives touched by the great work at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Although she doesn’t have a favorite game (she has one for every mood!), Tameka believes that the best things in life aren’t things. So enjoy this life one roll at a time.

Jamie Simms
Board Member | Joy Bringer | Strategy Queen
Sister. Daughter. Aunt. Board game strategist with a holy dose of sass. Jamie rocks bold hair, big faith, and even bigger joy. She’s all in on learning, pushing limits, and playing any game (other than Space Alert). Her game shelf favorites? Power Grid, Ark Nova, and Spirit Island—anything that demands brainpower and teamwork. Jamie joined the Rolling for Hope board to turn play into purpose, raising funds for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital one epic AdamCon at a time.
